Michael is a sports performance and fitness trainer with 14 years of training experience and a passion for the human body and the science of movement.

Noteworthy Achievements

· Trained over 100 NFL Draft hopefuls, 4 NFL Pro Bowl players, and numerous other professional athletes ranging from the NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, & Rugby Union

· 8+ years training Northwestern University Football in speed and agility and 11+ years designing and executing speed programs for Wheaton College Football

· Trained two Olympic-qualifying athletes competing for the U.S. in speed-skating and bob sledding

· Developed athletes who landed coveted positions in over 25 Division 1 programs including Northwestern Football, Baseball, and Soccer, Duke Football, Stanford Football and Track & Field, University of Iowa Track & Field and Baseball, Wisconsin Hockey and Track & Field, Illinois Tennis, Yale Tennis, Dartmouth Tennis, Notre Dame Soccer, Vanderbilt Soccer, Johns Hopkins Lacrosse, Denver Lacrosse, Cal Lacrosse, Bucknell Lacrosse, Yale Lacrosse, Villanova Track & Field, Bowdin Field Hockey, and many more

KOFI HUGHES

Sports Performance Specialist

Coach Hughes played 4 years of BIG10 football at Indiana University where he was a two-time captain. He ranks eighth in yardage and tenth in receptions all-time at IU. Kofi spent time with the Texans, Redskins and the Bears at wide receiver. Post NFL Kofi moved to Naperville, IL to build a sports performance company, Fit Speed with NFL WR Brandon Marshall. He is responsible for the development of Fit Speed Chicago from its inception in 2015, and has mentored and developed over 40 athletes who have since earned Division 1 scholarships. He has a passion for not just athletic performance, but also helping to mentor and build young leaders.
